Job summary

Laurel Crest Retirement Community is seeking a professional and compassionate Transporter to join our dedicated team and help enhance the lives of our residents. You will transport residents to activities and medical appointments, keeping schedules up to date and ensuring safety and cleanliness of vehicles.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and a valid South Carolina driver’s license, with preferred CNA certification, CPR, and 1–2 years of experience.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Valid South Carolina driver’s license is required.

Responsibilities

• Timely and safe transporting of residents to activities, trips, and appointments.
• Prioritize times to accommodate the greatest number of residents.
• Update and maintain the transportation schedule regularly.
• Assist with residents' needs as directed.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform pre-transport safety checks.

Transporter Key Responsibilities:

• Timely and safe transporting of residents to various individual and group activities including scheduled trips and medical appointments
• Prioritize times and needs to accommodate the greatest number of residents
• Update and maintain the schedule list regularly
• Assist with resident's needs when required or as directed
• Maintains the cleanliness of the vehicle, and completes a safety check of the vehicles before transporting residents

Transporter Required Qualifications:

• High School diploma or GED
• Valid South Carolina's driver's license

Transporter Preferred Qualifications:

• CNA License
• CPR
• 1-2 years of experience
