Bring your customer service skills to the North Portland or Southeast Portland DMV as a Real ID Specialist. In this role, you will assist the public with obtaining Real ID compliant identification cards, answering questions related to Real ID and providing customer service for Oregonian’s looking to obtain documents that comply with the Real ID Act. This is a limited duration appointment that is expected to end on or before June 30, 2027. Limited duration appointments are benefits eligible and have a designated maximum length of service. Work is performed in a DMV office setting with extensive face to face interaction with the public.
Must be able to type at least 30 words per minute with a high level of accuracy. A typing assessment will be conducted at the time of interview for selected candidates.

Two years of public contact/customer service experience which involved dealing with the public in person or by phone providing information about services/programs or explaining and/or applying rules, regulations and procedures; AND Experience or training using computers to retrieve and input data; AND Three months experience collecting money and making change. Completion of an associate’s degree will substitute for one year of the public contact experience.
