Job Responsibilities
- Monitor, facilitate, and manage all inbound receiving appointment scheduling for Publix warehouses and manufacturing plants based on their individual physical and operational constraints to efficiently align carrier deliveries with our receiving capabilities.
- Receive, process, and confirm delivery appointments for all Publix receiving warehouses and manufacturing facilities using TMS, Publix Appointment Scheduling System (PASS), and Outlook.
- Optimize Publix labor and maximize dock utilization in our facilities.
- Manage appointments scheduled through our Transportation Management System (TMS) as well as those made through manual means.
- Respond timely and provide informative communication to Corporate Purchasing, Distribution facilities, carriers, and suppliers.
- Review warehouse slot capacity to maintain the requested balance.
- Assist the Transportation Tracking Coordinators.

Minimum Requirements
- One year of experience working in Distribution, Transportation, or an analytical field.
- Ability to work flexible hours and be available on weekends.
- Ability to work extended periods of time.
- Successfully complete battery of Clerical & Microsoft Skills Tests before start date.

Preferred Qualifications
- Current Lakeland Distribution associate.
- Associate’s degree in Business, Transportation, or a related field or equivalent experience.
- Three years’ experience working in Transportation.
