Fresh Del Monte Produce Inc. is seeking a Safety Manager in Coral Gables, FL to lead transportation safety, regulatory compliance, and fleet operations.

You will partner with leadership to drive safety initiatives, oversee audits, and improve performance metrics for risk reduction and safe transportation operations. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) and experience in DOT compliance, fleet maintenance, and safety investigations, with strong analytical and leadership skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 3+ years of transportation safety, DOT compliance, fleet equipment management, or transportation operations experience.
• Experience with private fleet operations, fleet equipment oversight, DOT audits, accident investigations, and maintenance compliance.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to the Safety Team and ensure execution of transportation safety and compliance strategy.
• Oversee Equipment Team for fleet asset management and maintenance compliance.
• Lead transportation safety and DOT compliance programs per FMCSA regulations.
• Oversee driver qualification, onboarding, compliance monitoring, and safety training.
• Administer the DOT Random Drug and Alcohol Testing Program and related requirements.
• Lead DOT audits, inspections, and safety reviews with compliant documentation.
• Direct accident reporting, investigations, claims management, and corrective action processes.
• Analyze and report safety metrics (CSA, incidents, inspections, Hours of Service).
• Develop corrective action and disciplinary programs for safety violations.
• Drive safety initiatives and culture to improve fleet performance.
