Job summary

Huntington Ingalls Industries, Inc.’s Ingalls Shipbuilding division seeks a production supervision leader to oversee semi-skilled and skilled trades. You will supervise, coordinate, and evaluate staff, train teams, and ensure adherence to drawings, procedures and processes that impact safety, quality, and cost.

The role requires HS Diploma/GED with 6 years in craft and at least 2 years in supervision; an AA/Apprentice degree and 2 years supervisory experience are also acceptable.

Qualifications

• Must have HS Diploma/GED with 6 years craft experience, incl. 2 years in production supervision.
• Apprentice Graduate/AA Degree with 2 years craft experience and 2 years supervision.
• Willingness to work any shift assigned.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, assign, coordinate and evaluate semi-skilled and skilled trades personnel.
• Train employees to improve quality and productivity; develop training procedures.
• Ensure compliance with drawings, procedures and process controls; monitor budget performance.
