Huntington Ingalls Industries’ Newport News Shipbuilding division invites applications for a production supervisor role based in Goose Creek, SC. The successful candidate will supervise semi-skilled and skilled trades personnel, assign work, and translate strategic goals into practical action plans that boost quality and productivity.

Must have either a BS/Apprentice with 4 years of supervision experience or a non-BS with 6 years of combined supervisory and/or CS experience.

Qualifications

• BS/Apprentice + 4 years production supervisor experience
• Non-BS/Non-Apprentice with 6 years combined production supervisory experience and/or CS experience

Responsibilities

• Supervises, assigns, coordinates and evaluates semi-skilled and skilled trades personnel according to their skill, experience and job knowledge.
• Responsible for manufacturing, installation, operation, testing, and process operations that have a significant financial impact on the company's performance. Supervises budget performance for all shifts.
