Job summary

BKF Engineers is seeking an experienced civil project leader to serve as the Owner’s professional representative on bridge, roadway, and civil construction projects. You will ensure compliance with contract documents, lead the project team, and supervise staff for quality control and profitability.

The role requires a California-registered P.E. with 7+ years of construction contract management on related projects, and knowledge of CALTRANS/local agency processes.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil Engineering and California PE license are required.
• 7+ years of construction contract management experience on roadway/bridge projects.
• Working knowledge of CALTRANS and local agency projects, and coordination on federally funded projects is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Owner’s professional representative on bridge, roadway and civil construction projects.
• Ensure projects conform to contract documents and meet QA/QC goals.
• Lead project team, manage staff, and oversee contract administration.
