Job summary

The ideal candidate has a Civil Engineering degree, a Wisconsin PE license, and 10+ years of design/PM experience on WisDOT projects, with proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license in Wisconsin.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience on WisDOT projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead transportation engineering design activities focused on roadways, structures, and intersections.
• Maintain and enhance relationships with WisDOT through clear communication.
• Mentor multidisciplinary teams and ensure high‑quality project delivery within budget and schedule.
• Collaborate with permitting agencies and support proposal development.
• Develop and negotiate WisDOT contracts and work breakdown structures.
• Provide performance feedback to support team development.
