Job summary
Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT) is seeking a Resident Engineer to manage highway ITS construction projects and administer contracts with authority up to $200,000. Qualifications
- Manage highway ITS construction projects and contracts.
- Approvals authority up to $200,000 for contract actions.
- Ensure safety and environmental compliance on field projects.
- Meet pre-employment requirements including AZ PE license within 6 months.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate progress of highway construction projects.
- Review material sampling and testing and contract payments.
- Consult with agencies to resolve conflicts.
- Write, track and implement contract supplemental agreements.
- Ensure contractor compliance with safety and environmental standards.
