Job summary

MSA Professional Services is seeking a Project Engineer – Transportation to support the planning, design, and delivery of transportation infrastructure projects throughout Iowa. This position is ideal for a motivated civil engineer who enjoys technical design work and client interaction.

Responsibilities include project management, transportation design, and public engagement. Required qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and a Professional Engineer (PE) license.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years of mobility/transportation engineering experience required.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.
• Desire to work in a fast-paced consulting environment.

Responsibilities

• Support project management activities including planning, scoping, budgeting, and QA/QC.
• Design roadway infrastructure projects and prepare technical reports.
• Assist with public meeting presentations and stakeholder engagement activities.
