Digital Engineering & Imaging, Inc. in Louisiana is seeking a Project Engineer to help plan, design, and deliver roadway, highway, and multimodal projects that improve mobility, safety, and communities. You will join a collaborative Transportation team focused on planning, modeling and analysis, and program management across the Gulf Coast.

Qualified candidates hold an ABET-accredited Civil Engineering degree, a P.E. license (LA P.E.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.); if not currently licensed in Louisiana, must obtain LA P.E. within six months of hire.
• 2-3 years of experience in highway and roadway design.
• Prior experience in AutoCAD Civil 3D is strongly preferred and will be given preferential consideration.
• Ability to maintain valid driver's license.
• Working knowledge of transportation design principles including AASHTO, MUTCD, FHWA, and state DOT requirements, policies, manuals and procedures.
• Proficiency with word processing software, spreadsheet software, design software, and standard internet applications.
• Strong time-management and organizational skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Professional demeanor with strong interpersonal and collaboration abilities

Responsibilities
