HDR, Inc. is seeking a Project Accountant 2 in Long Beach, CA to manage client invoicing, budgeting, and contract administration. You will support project managers and accounting teams, ensuring accurate documentation and timely data to keep projects on track.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in a closely related field or combination of education and relevant experience.
• Experience with Earned Value Management is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work autonomously on client invoicing, collections management and project budgeting.
• Accurately contract documentation, administration and maintenance, including fee and budget entry.
• Support project managers and accounting team with project initiation documents.
• Work with section and project personnel to provide timely contract data and resolve financial issues.
• Read and understand client and internal contracts.
• Coordinate the project accounting system within the department and ensure compliance with contractual requirements.
• Prepare contracts/amendments using approved company templates.
• Maintain and track project insurance certificates and issue renewals.
