Job summary

Consor in Knoxville, TN seeks an experienced TPD Area Principal to lead transportation program delivery, shaping strategic client engagements and guiding project lifecycle from proposal to delivery with industry-leading quality.

You will direct multi-disciplinary teams, drive business development, manage scope, schedule, and budgets, and mentor staff while upholding our standards and client objectives across the region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field; master’s degree preferred.
• Registered Professional Engineer in TN or ability to obtain PE within 6 months.
• 15 years of experience in transportation engineering and project management.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the delivery of transportation programs and projects, overseeing all aspects of project lifecycle.
• Oversee the preparation of scope, schedule, and budgets for projects.
• Develop and present complex technical solutions to clients, demonstrating innovative problem-solving abilities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality project outcomes.
• Interface with clients and lead BD efforts to win projects, coordinating with local leaders.
