Job summary

You will coordinate planning, funding, and project delivery while guiding cross‑disciplinary teams and managing scope, schedule and risk.

The role requires strong leadership, technical guidance within the Local Programs Management Office, and collaboration with state and federal partners to ensure compliant program execution.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of operations and policies for administering transportation programs to local government sponsors.
• Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with associates, other State officials and the public.
• Knowledge of federal and state funding programs used for department projects.
• Knowledge of grant administration and the federal-aid project delivery process.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and DOT systems (SAP/BSIP, EBS Portal, DOT Grants).

Responsibilities

• Administer federal and state funded transportation programs to local government sponsors.
• Coordinate planning activities, project implementation, and fund administration.
• Serve as chief liaison between LPMO and inter/intra-agency personnel.
• Provide technical, including engineering and fiscal, assistance within LPMO.
• Lead development of project scope, schedule, budget, risk and quality management.
• Communicate with project team members and stakeholders across disciplines.
