Job summary

The State of North Carolina Department of Transportation (NCDOT) is seeking a Program Manager II (NS) to lead the Local Program Management Office (LPMO) within the Division of Planning and Programming. You will plan, direct, and coordinate statewide STIP projects, supervise professional and support staff, and develop procedures while ensuring compliance with federal and state rules.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree and five years of related experience, including two years in supervision;

Responsibilities

• Directs and coordinates the day-to-day statewide operations of the Local Program Management Office (LPMO) for municipally administered STIP projects.
• Plan, direct, coordinate, and evaluate statewide program activities; develop operational procedures and guidance; monitor program performance; ensure compliance with federal and state requirements.
• Provide operational leadership and technical guidance to multidisciplinary staff while coordinating activities among NCDOT Divisions, municipalities, consultants, FHWA, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and consistent statewide project delivery.
