Job summary

Quiddity Engineering in Tampa, FL is seeking a Transportation Practice Leader to grow and lead our Transportation Planning and Traffic practice in the region. This role requires building a team, owning project performance, and shaping the practice’s direction with the backing of the firm.

You will work with municipal, DOT and private clients to win work and deliver transportation planning, traffic engineering, roadway, and ITS projects, while mentoring engineers and developing people.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in transportation planning, traffic engineering, roadway or ITS.
• Licensed P.E. with active status.
• Proven track record of winning and delivering work locally.
• Strong relationships with local agencies, municipalities or DOT.
• Experience leading teams, managing projects and developing people.

Responsibilities

• Lead growth of the Transportation Planning and Traffic practice locally in Tampa.
• Build and execute a vision for growing transportation services in the Tampa market.
• Work with municipal, DOT and private clients including existing and new relationships.
• Lead delivery of transportation planning, traffic engineering, roadway, and ITS projects.
• Drive business development from strategy to pursuit to win.
• Shape the direction of the practice and own project performance and profitability.
