Job summary

Metric Geo seeks a Senior transportation and civil engineering leader to grow design revenues and expand its NYC market presence. The role focuses on developing and managing roadway, highway, streetscape, and transportation infrastructure opportunities throughout New York City.

The ideal candidate will leverage extensive public-sector relationships and mentor project managers while leading proposals, interviews, and contract negotiations to secure key projects across civil and transportation

Qualifications

• 15+ years of transportation engineering and project delivery experience.
• Leadership role within NYCDOT, NYC DDC, MTA, PANYNJ, NYSDOT, or a major transportation consulting firm.
• Strong understanding of NYC transportation procurement and capital program delivery.
• Established network of agency decision-makers and industry partners.

Responsibilities

• Lead business development and client engagement efforts across NYC transportation agencies.
• Pursue and secure civil, highway, roadway, complete streets, and transportation design projects.
• Manage strategic client relationships and key account development.
• Mentor project managers and build transportation engineering staff.
• Support proposal development, interviews, and contract negotiations.
• Serve as local market leader for transportation growth initiatives.
