CDM Smith is seeking a recent graduate in communications, political science, public policy, or related fields to join the Transportation Advisory Services team. You will analyze transportation policy, conduct stakeholder outreach, and help develop policy proposals addressing funding, technology, energy, and equity.

Join a multi-disciplinary group that works with clients to identify issues, analyze bills, and present recommendations to working groups, legislative committees, and the public.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree; 1 year of related experience. Domestic and/or international travel may be required.
• Equivalent additional directly related experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Strong analytical and communication skills are expected to support policy analysis and stakeholder engagement.

Responsabilités

• Conduct in-depth financial analysis of transportation revenue and spending projections.
• Analyze stakeholders including policy positions, influences, priorities, and authorities.
• Design and conduct stakeholder and community outreach to solicit input on policy proposals.
• Research statutes and regulations and summarize them for policy consideration.
• Draft bill language to align with client priorities for policy proposals.
• Present findings and recommendations to client groups and public bodies.
