CDM Smith is seeking a recent graduate to join Transportation Advisory Services, focusing on public policy issues, funding, and transportation projects. You will work with senior policy and communications specialists to help clients identify and solve policy challenges.

You will analyze revenue projections, engage stakeholders, draft policy proposals, and present findings to commissions and the public. Occasional travel may be required across the U.S.

Formación

• Policy challenges in US transportation funding, energy, emissions, and equity
• Strong analytical skills with stakeholder awareness
• Financial analysis including cost analysis
• Knowledge of transportation tech trends
• Undergrad degree required; advanced degree a plus

Responsabilidades

• Analyze transportation revenue and spending projections
• Assess stakeholders’ positions, influences, and priorities
• Design and conduct outreach to solicit input on policy proposals
• Research statutes, regulations, and bills
• Support special commissions, task forces, and working groups
• Coordinate input from stakeholders for policy proposals
• Draft policy proposals and solutions
• Author papers framing policy issues and trade-offs
• Draft bill language aligning with client priorities
• Present findings to working groups and public bodies
