Job summary

CDM Smith is offering an internship with our Transportation Advisory Services Team focused on delivering strategic communications for transportation clients. You will assist with content creation across websites, videos, emails, social media, and presentations, helping craft collateral for diverse audiences.

Current students pursuing a Bachelors or Masters in Planning or related fields will contribute in a collaborative, deadline-driven environment, with opportunities to grow in a nationwide

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled and taking courses toward a Bachelors or Master's degree in Planning or a related field.
• Master's Degree Preferred
• Interest in transportation is preferred
• Interest in public communications and writing is preferred
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign/Illustrator) and/or Canva a plus
• Interest in general business marketing is NOT required

Responsibilities

• Assist in delivering integrated strategic communications products and services to transportation clients including departments of transportation and planning agencies.
• Support content creation including websites, videos, emails, social media content, presentations, and meeting management.
• Help craft collateral explaining technical content for clients, stakeholders, and lay audiences.
