### **Job Description**## **Overview**AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Transportation Planning Intern – Summer 2027 to join our Henderson, NV office.## **Your role*** Work on real client projects, gaining exposure to multiple stages of the project lifecycle and a variety of transportation planning assignments.* Support transportation planning tasks that could include traffic modeling, data collection, safety analysis, public engagement, and multi-modal planning and design.* Assist with the preparation of technical documentation, presentations, and project reports.* Analyze and interpret transportation data to support project recommendations, planning discussions, and decision-making.* Participate in project team meetings, brainstorming sessions, client meetings, and workshops.* Support mapping, data visualization, and planning analyses used to communicate project findings and recommendations.* Collaborate with team members to develop innovative transportation solutions.* Participate in training, mentorship and professional development opportunities to build technical, analytical, communication, and teamwork skills.## **About you*** EXPERIENCE: + Familiarity with mapping and transportation modeling tools, or data visualization software is a plus. + Demonstrated interest in transportation systems, mobility, roadway safety, public engagement, and community planning.* EDUCATION: + Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Transportation Planning, Urban Planning, Civil Engineering, or a related field.* SPECIAL SKILLS: + Strong written and verbal communication skills. + Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while managing multiple tasks.## **Rewards & benefits**At AtkinsRéalis, our values—Safety, Integrity, Collaboration, Innovation, and Excellence—are more than just words.
