Job summary

CDM Smith seeks a Senior Transportation/Traffic Revenue Modeling Lead to join our North Region team. This role focuses on performing traffic revenue and demand modeling for toll agencies, leading projects, and guiding technical content with care for quality and accuracy.

You will analyze large data sets, mentor junior staff, and coordinate with clients while traveling up to 10% as needed. A Bachelor's in Civil Engineering or related field and relevant certifications are required; a Master's

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Urban, Community or Regional Planning or related discipline.
• Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Urban Planning, Transportation, or a related field.
• 10 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree or 9 years of experience with a Master’s degree.
• Domestic and/or international travel may be required.
• Equivalent additional directly related experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.

Responsibilities

• Performing Traffic Revenue and Demand Modeling for toll agencies throughout the North Region, including potentially being the Project Technical Leader for Traffic Revenue and Demand Modeling Projects.
• Executing Advanced Data Analysis: Analyzing large data sets in support of Traffic and Revenue studies and Demand Management studies, as well as in support of highway planning projects more broadly.
• Performing overall task management, and QA/QC procedures.
• Being responsible for coordination and management of the technical content of projects including driving the technical vision of the end product, ensuring the technical accuracy of the work product, ensuring the right technical skill sets are on the project at the correct time, developing and mentoring technical project staff, and coordinating all aspects of the project with our clients.
• Being a mentor for junior staff by providing thorough editing of draft documents and QA/QC of deliverables.
