Job summary

The City of Springfield is seeking qualified applicants for a planning/engineering-focused role in its Public Works Transportation Division. The position requires a degree in Community or Transportation Planning, Engineering, Economics, Geography, or a related field, plus two years of related experience.

A Master's degree may substitute for one year of experience. Membership in AICP or registration as a Missouri PE is desirable but not required; a valid driver's license is required.

Experience, Education, and Training

Licensing/Certification

• American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP) membership or registration as a Licensed Professional Engineer in the State of Missouri is desired, but not required.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
