This role involves applying planning strategies using various technologies to gather and analyze data, assess outcomes, and develop reports and visuals to communicate findings. You will assist with planning projects, including research, studies, documentation, and coordination with interdisciplinary teams from concept to completion.

What You’ll Do:

• Research and collect raw data, organize, analyze, and review data for projects and further analysis.
• Perform project analysis using technical guidance and software.
• Support project team members with tasks such as developing maps, exhibits, presentation materials, and reports.
• Research issues, policies, and concepts related to planning; develop conceptual planning alternatives for urban and transportation projects.
• Prepare and produce plans, studies, reports, and environmental documents for transportation and infrastructure projects.
• Assist in stakeholder and public participation processes.
• Maintain records, collections, and files related to specific projects.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What You’ll Need:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Urban Planning, Geography, Engineering, or related field.

What You’ll Bring:

• Knowledge of GIS software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to compile and summarize data (e.g., census, land use) under guidance.
• Assist in reviewing, preparing, and summarizing relevant research.
• Contribute to reports and help prepare presentation materials under supervision.

What We Prefer:

• Master's degree in Urban Planning or related field.
• Previous planning experience through internships or employment.

The pay range for Los Angeles Metro Area and Orange County, CA is approximately $66,600.87 - $99,901.32, depending on qualifications, experience, and location.
