Job summary

Branch ISD Special Education is seeking a dependable Transportation Parapro to support students with special education needs during transportation to and from school. This role ensures students travel safely and comfortably while providing supervision and support throughout the trip.

The ideal candidate is patient, responsible, safety-minded, and able to work with students, families, drivers, and school staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Experience with elementary or high school students.
• Experience with students having academic and cognitive deficiencies and/or emotional/behavioral disturbances is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision and assistance to students during rides to and from school.
• Ensure students travel safely and comfortably.
• Collaborate with drivers and school staff to support students.
• Communicate effectively with families and school personnel as needed.
