Job summary

Werner Enterprises is seeking a dedicated transportation professional to build and maintain driver relationships, balance home time, payroll, equipment issues, and other driver needs using our systems and communications tools. You will partner with the Dedicated Logistics Manager and other teams to optimize loads, align with customer expectations, and ensure timely operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Admin, Marketing or Transportation/Logistics preferred.
• 2–3 years of fleet management or transportation experience preferred.
• 6 months to 1 year of supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain driver relationships to meet driver needs.
• Partner with management to optimize driver loads based on freight parameters.
• Interface with billing, customer service, risk, safety, payroll, and other departments.
• Fill and maintain a full board of drivers with the Dedicated Logistics Manager.
• Attend shifts as scheduled and perform duties as assigned.
