Job summary

Ben E. Keith Company is seeking a Transportation Supervisor DOT to oversee daily delivery operations, ensure safety compliance, and lead a team of transportation personnel. The role reports to the Operations Manager and emphasizes professional conduct and process adherence.

Responsibilities include enforcing policies, training staff, managing routes, and documenting activities to ensure timely deliveries and customer satisfaction across BEK's transportation network.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of related experience, including at least 1 year in management.
• Knowledge of DOT guidelines and related regulatory requirements.
• Valid Arkansas Class A CDL; with no more than one moving violation in 3 years.
• High school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with peer supervisors to manage daily routes and activities of transportation personnel
• Enforce transportation policies and procedures to maintain equipment performance and ensure compliance of BEK safety and transportation guidelines
• Manage delivery operations to ensure complete customer satisfaction with internal and external customers
• Perform daily administrative tasks to ensure the timely reporting of work activities, personnel time, expenditures and verify the efficient shipping and delivery of products
• Train new employees and guide current employees regarding routes, product delivery, completion of paperwork, and compliance with all safety requirements; and perform employee evaluations or disciplinary actions as needed
• Perform timely investigation and reporting of all accidents, injuries and incidents to appropriate personnel
• Represent Ben E. Keith Company with professionalism, a positive attitude and professional dress code
