Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club is seeking a Transportation Supervisor to coordinate daily transportation and dispatch within DOT and FMCSA rules. You’ll supervise drivers, onboard staff, and ensure safety, compliance, and on-time performance. The role requires strong math, DOT knowledge, and leadership across a busy logistics operation.

Travel up to 15% is possible; a CDL and related experience are preferred. The position offers comprehensive benefits and opportunities for growth within a large retail

Qualifications

• DOT compliance experience and ability to enforce DOT policies.
• Experience coordinating dispatch and driver supervision.
• Familiarity with load planning and KPI reporting.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and mentor transportation team members.
• Oversee driver onboarding, retention and training.
• Lead DOT and FMCSA training for drivers and staff.
• Monitor safety, compliance and performance metrics.
• Coordinate load planning and on-time scheduling.
• Maintain driver qualification files and payroll/attendance data.
• Communicate with internal teams and vendors to resolve issues.
