Job summary

J&B Group in Minnesota is seeking a Transportation Supervisor to lead and mentor a team of truck drivers, ensuring safety, DOT compliance, and efficient routing. You will coordinate with sales, warehouse, and garage teams to meet delivery goals while managing PTO and payroll processes.

The role requires a CDL, DOT knowledge, and strong leadership; travel is 10–20%. In-office position with growth and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate Degree preferred.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and fleet operations is essential.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and mentor Truck Drivers, monitor daily activities and payroll
• Oversee workflow, ensure DOT compliance on HOS, manage PTO and overtime
• Coordinate between sales, warehouse, and garage to meet delivery goals and optimize routes
• Monitor P Card transactions and ensure proper GL coding
• Maintain Class A/B CDL and DOT Medical Certification as required
• Lead and train transportation staff and provide direction and performance evaluations
• Travel up to 10–20% as needed for route and domicile coverage
