Job summary

TrulyHired is seeking a Transportation Operations Technician to support district transportation operations under general supervision. The role emphasizes clerical duties, payroll processing, and scheduling, with responsibility for coordinating substitute bus drivers to ensure daily bus coverage.

You will communicate with schools, parents, and staff, maintain records in TIMS, update driver data, and assist in preparing materials for Area Safety meetings and ongoing driver training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of two (2) years of related experience required.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to all laws, policies, and procedures.
• Perform administrative functions including correspondence, filing, data collection, and scheduling.
• Perform daily payroll functions; collect missing information for weekly payroll.
• Coordinate with the Transportation Area Manager and staff to identify substitute bus driver needs and ensure daily coverage.
• Communicate with schools, parents, and staff regarding operational information and bus schedule changes.
• Relay instructions and status updates from leadership to community members.
