Dairy Farmers of America seeks a Transportation Manager to lead transportation operations at our Cedarburg, WI facility. You will oversee daily shipping and receiving, ensure safety, regulatory compliance, and cost-effective delivery of products to customers.

Responsibilities include coaching supervisors and drivers, managing budgets, implementing process improvements, and maintaining KPI reporting. Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and TMS is preferred.

Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma or equivalent; undergrad degree preferred.
• 5–8 years in distribution, logistics or transportation with supervisory experience.
• Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety policies.
• Proficient with MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint; experience with TMS/route optimization tools.

Responsabilités

• Manage transportation and/or distribution operations in compliance with regulations and company policies.
• Monitor daily operations and communicate with drivers, dispatch, and other locations.
• Control costs for labor, supplies, and maintenance; approve expenses within guidelines.
• Analyze processes; develop solutions to improve operating quality and efficiency.
• Hire and train staff; coach supervisors and drivers to meet performance goals.
• Lead transportation supervisors and provide coaching to staff.
• Work with HR on investigations and corrective actions as needed.
• Assist in safety, environmental compliance and KPI reporting.
• Oversee fleet maintenance scheduling and preventive maintenance.
