Dairy Farmers of America is seeking a Transportation Manager at our Cedarburg, WI facility to lead transportation operations and drive safety, service, and efficiency. You will oversee daily activities, manage driver and dispatcher interactions, and champion continuous improvement across the logistics network.

The role requires 5–8 years in distribution or transportation with supervisory experience, knowledge of DOT regulations, and proficiency in MS Office and TMS tools.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; degree preferred.
• 5–8 years in distribution, logistics or transportation with supervision.
• Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and related policies.
• Proficiency in MS Office and TMS tools for operations support.
• Ability to organize time, energy, and activities to achieve goals.

Responsibilities

• Lead transportation and distribution operations with focus on safety and efficiency.
• Oversee daily activities, communicate with drivers, dispatch and customers.
• Monitor costs for labor, supplies, and maintenance within guidelines.
• Analyze processes, document issues, and implement improvement solutions.
• Interview, hire, and train staff; coach supervisors to meet performance goals.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and prepare operational reports (KPI).
• Manage fleet maintenance scheduling and equipment care.
• Support investigations and corrective actions with HR as needed.
