The role requires coaching talent, optimizing staffing, and collaborating with Sales to exceed contract goals while maintaining strong driver relationships and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or related field preferred.
• Experience in transportation operations management.
• Ability to coach and develop staff.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Excel/MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Coach and mentor Driver Managers and Planners to improve on-time performance and revenue per driver.
• Collaborate with Sales to ensure lane profitability.
• Oversee scheduling and staffing changes as needed.
• Maintain relationships with driver force and field personnel.
• Coach drivers to meet KPIs.
• Monitor asset utilization and allocate assets.
• Identify opportunities to improve productivity, service, profitability, and efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
• Address operational issues and provide direction to drivers managers and planners.
• Travel to customer and off-site locations as needed.
