• Expertise in logistics management procedures and best practices.
• Strong problem solving and leadership skills.
• Knowledge of DOT laws and regulations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Ability to work extended hours to meet deadlines.
• Experience in diverse environments such as offices, cross dock, warehouse, or yard.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word; willingness to learn new systems.
• Detail oriented with ability to handle high pressure and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Manage Delivery and Shuttle Operations, ensuring routes and deliveries are executed accurately.
• Travel to drop yards, meet contractors, and provide trip recaps.
• Review routes and linehaul assignments.
• Monitor all deliveries and routes in Dispatch Track/Motive from start to finish.
• Collaborate with Independent Contractors and store management.
• Ensure safety procedures are met by inspecting equipment, logs, DVIRs, and Hours of Service records.
• Monitor performance metrics including safety scores and Dispatch Track.
• Interact with multiple departments daily to maintain a positive work environment.
• Performs other duties as required.
