Job summary

Cash-Wa is seeking a Transportation Manager (West) to oversee at least four depot locations from the Kearney, NE area. This role requires leadership to mentor a team while working with customers, making decisions, and finding creative solutions. Occasional route coverage may be required to meet customer needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; preferably in Supply Chain, Sales, Marketing or related field.
• 5 years of related experience required.
• 6 months of supervisory or management experience required.
• PMP designation preferred.
• Have Class A CDL and a good driving record.
• Project management experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervises Transportation Supervisor and drivers to ensure safe, efficient, and timely deliveries; develops staff and evaluates performance.
• Manages day-to-day administration of the delivery function; handles expenses, payroll, reports and problem solving.
• Operates fleet management systems (Samsara, Bohdi) to monitor and access data.
• Prepares annual transportation operating budget and conducts cost analyses.
• Collaborates with Warehouse Manager to maximize operational efficiency.
• Schedules truck deliveries, routing, backhauls, and maintenance; analyzes equipment needs.
