Job summary

Cash--w is seeking a Transportation Manager (West) to lead transportation operations across multiple depots with a focus on safety, efficiency, and customer satisfaction. The role requires directing drivers, scheduling routes, and ensuring DOT and OSHA compliance.

The position is primarily based out of the Kearney, Nebraska office with travel to other locations as needed, and entails mentorship of staff and collaboration with the Warehouse Manager to maximize route profitability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in a related field.
• 5 years of related experience required.
• 6 months of supervisory or management experience required.
• Class A CDL required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Transportation staff to ensure safe, efficient deliveries and maintain customer satisfaction.
• Oversee daily administration of expenses, payroll, and expense reporting.
• Operate fleet management systems (Samsara, Bohdi) and monitor vehicle data.
• Prepare annual transportation budget and perform cost analyses (leases, fuel, etc.).
• Coordinate with Warehouse Manager to optimize operational efficiency.
• Schedule daily deliveries and routing, including backhauls, to maximize profitability.
