Job summary

Univar Solutions is seeking a Transportation Supervisor to oversee day-to-day private fleet operations at the Cincinnati site. You will supervise drivers, manage schedules, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance while meeting customer service and financial targets.

You will collaborate with the District Transportation Manager on initiatives, implement improvements, and coordinate with Safety and Maintenance teams to optimize performance and cost.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of DOT/FMCSA regulations and Hours of Service.
• Experience supervising and dispatching drivers.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee private fleet operations and supervise drivers.
• Manage labor hours and consumables within budget.
• Coordinate driver schedules, overtime, and shift hours.
• Ensure on-time service levels and optimize routes.
• Maintain regulatory compliance (DOT, OSHA, etc.) and safety.
• Assist with hiring processes for new drivers.
