Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience supervising transportation operations and directing activities in a leadership role.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety practices applicable to transportation.
• Strong leadership, organizational and communication skills for coordinating a transport team.

Responsibilities

• Assist with administrative duties including payroll, reporting, and routing.
• Supervise Delivery Specialists and conduct performance reviews.
• Assist in training new Delivery Specialists using SOP manuals and DOT procedures.
• Support daily transportation activities, backhauling, and movement between facilities.
• Ensure compliance with DOT regulations (Drug and Alcohol Policy, hours of service).
• Maintain accurate departmental records.
• Assist in fleet maintenance and equipment availability or sourcing rentals.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure efficient deliveries.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
