Qualifications

• 3+ years in transportation, trucking, dispatch, or logistics.
• Prior supervisory or management experience preferred.
• Understanding of trucking operations and carrier relationships.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Independent decision-making and hands-on mindset.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily transportation activities across trucking, rails, containers, and drop boxes.
• Participate in dispatching and coordinate workload among dispatchers.
• Coordinate railcar orders, track activity, ensure timely release of cars.
• Oversee container transport, bookings, port appointments, and scheduling.
• Serve as escalation point for transportation issues and resolutions.
• Coordinate with Maintenance for preventive maintenance and downtime.
• Monitor equipment and follow up on maintenance/repair delays.
