The Logistics Company in the United States is seeking a Transportation / Mobility Specialist to provide support for USARCENT G4, coordinating movement, deployment, and distribution. Work Location: HQ USARCENT, Shaw AFB, SC
Provide transportation, mobility, deployment, distribution, and movement-coordination support to USARCENT G4. Maintain visibility of movement requirements and constraints and prepare decision-ready status and planning products.
Track and coordinate assigned transportation, mobility, deployment, redeployment, or distribution requirements.
Review movement data, documentation, schedules, routes, modes, priorities, and support dependencies.
Prepare status reports, movement products, forecasts, briefings, data calls, and recommendations.
Coordinate with supply, maintenance, munitions, operations, supported units, and transportation organizations.
Identify documentation gaps, capacity constraints, schedule conflicts, or readiness impacts and elevate them early.
Maintain action and suspense records and document completion using approved systems and procedures.
Must possess and maintain a Secret clearance. The Government recommends an active clearance at hire.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Common Access Card, installation access, and required Government system/network access; performance cannot begin while required access is pending.
Must read, write, speak, and understand English and maintain professional conduct and appearance.
Must use Government-furnished equipment and authorized systems for performance; unauthorized personal devices or removable media are prohibited on Government networks.
Must complete required security, cyber/IA, OPSEC, antiterrorism, iWATCH, and local training. Possible CONUS or OCONUS travel may be designated after award.
Five or more years of Army or DoD transportation, mobility, deployment, distribution, or movement-control experience.
Knowledge of military movement planning, documentation, modes, deployment processes, and transportation coordination.
Experience with movement or deployment systems relevant to the assigned work; candidates should identify specific systems on the resume.
Strong planning, data-quality, problem-solving, briefing, and cross-functional coordination skills.
Relevant transportation, mobility, deployment, or logistics education/certification is preferred but is not stated as a Government requirement.
