Job summary

Adecco is seeking a Transportation Manager for a privately owned company with a new plant in northern Massachusetts. You will lead the Transportation Department, recruit and develop staff, oversee fleet operations, budgets, and safety compliance.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in transportation management and hold an active CDL with DOT knowledge. Salary up to $105k/year plus benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401k, and FSA.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in transportation management.
• Must possess active CDL License.
• Understanding DOT regulations.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, train, coach, and manage transportation staff, driving performance, accountability, safety compliance, and operational excellence.
• Oversee fleet operations, vehicle maintenance, leasing, fuel, payroll, and transportation budgets to maximize efficiency and control costs.
• Develop driver schedules, monitored productivity, enforced company policies, and achieved service, quality, and profitability objectives.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, labor regulations, and safety standards while maintaining accurate records and promptly resolving incidents.
• Build strong customer relationships, resolved transportation issues, collaborated across departments, and implemented continuous process improvements.

Our client is privately owned company with a new plant in northern MA. Due to growth, seeking a Transportation Manager to lead the Transportation Dept. Primary duties/responsibilities include:

• Recruit, train, coach, and manage transportation staff, driving performance, accountability, safety compliance, and operational excellence.
• Oversee fleet operations, vehicle maintenance, leasing, fuel, payroll, and transportation budgets to maximize efficiency and control costs.
