Responsibilities

This position oversees the daily production, P&L, and quality performance of the Shipping/Receiving department. Responsibilities include:

• Managing inbound and outbound orders, including receipt, issue, and shipment of materials.
• Coordinating shipping activities with CTDI transportation group.
• Utilizing TMS systems for planning and scheduling material movement.
• Tracking inventory and shipments, providing reports to stakeholders.
• Reviewing inventory against orders and forecasts, expediting shipments as needed.
• Resolving inventory or order discrepancies.
• Planning transportation routes, tracking shipments, and reducing costs.
• Scheduling and dispatching trucks to meet demand.
• Monitoring shipment progress and providing updates.
• Creating transportation benchmarks and handling customer shipment requests.
• Participating in logistics projects and maintaining operational statistics.
• Developing customer relationships and resolving issues to ensure satisfaction.
• Streamlining operations and monitoring employee performance and attendance.

Required Skills

• Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
• Valid CDL Class A license.

Required Experience

• At least 2 years in the transportation industry.
• Valid Class A CDL.
• Associate's Degree in Inventory Management, Logistics, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 2 years in a customer service role within third-party distribution.
