Title:

Transportation Management Specialist

Location:

Virtual (additional locations may include large Olin manufacturing sites or corporate locations such as Houston, TX; Clayton, MO; Charleston, TN; Freeport, TX; Lake Jackson, TX; Plaquemine, LA; or McIntosh, AL)

Salary:

$85,500 - $129,500

Focus:

The Transportation Management Specialist is responsible for coordinating logistics processes and systems, serving as the Global Subject Matter Expert for the SAP TM (Transportation Management) Module and related applications across all transportation modes. This role supports and guides global logistics users to optimize business processes.

Essential Job Functions:

1. Develop and refine training materials and consult with business users on process and system improvements.
2. Manage Freight Agreements within TM, collaborating with Procurement Logistics to optimize rate structures and agreements.
3. Maintain calculation sheets, rate tables, and master data in TM to support daily operations.
4. Manage third-party user access to relevant systems like Olin's Carrier Collaboration Portal and Terminal Webpage.
5. Identify opportunities for continuous improvement, testing, and validating system enhancements.
6. Support the implementation, testing, and troubleshooting of EDI with transportation partners.
7. Coordinate diversion processes with business units across Olin's global network.

Minimum Requirements:

1. Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or Business from an accredited institution.
2. At least 3 years of experience with transportation management systems, preferably SAP TM.
3. Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills with a focus on continuous improvement.
4. Prior experience at Olin is preferred.
5. Possibility of obtaining a TWIC card if working on-site at certain locations.
