Transportation Management Specialist

Location: Virtual
Additional locations may include any large Olin manufacturing site or corporate location, including Houston, TX, Clayton, MO, Charleston, TN, Freeport, TX, Lake Jackson, TX, Plaquemine, LA, or McIntosh, AL

Salary: $85,500 - $129,500

Focus

The Transportation Management Specialist is responsible for coordinating with stakeholders to optimize logistics processes and systems. This role serves as the Global Subject Matter Expert for the SAP TM (Transportation Management) Module and related applications across all transportation modes, supporting and guiding global logistics users on efficient business processes.

Essential Job Functions

1. Develop and refine training documents; consult with business users on process changes and system capabilities.
2. Manage Freight Agreements within TM for regional and global transportation needs, partnering with Procurement Logistics to leverage system capabilities.
3. Maintain calculation sheets, rate tables, and master data within TM to support daily operations, including Agreement Parties, Dispute Approvers, Default Routes, etc.
4. Manage third-party user access across relevant systems such as Olin's Carrier Collaboration Portal and Terminal Webpage.
5. Drive continuous improvement efforts by working with business users to identify opportunities, test, and validate system enhancements.
6. Support the implementation of EDI for transportation partners, including testing and troubleshooting.
7. Serve as the Diversion Coordinator, supporting the return process across Olin's global network.

Minimum Requirements

1. Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or Business discipline from an accredited institution.
2. Minimum of 3 years' experience with transportation management systems, preferably SAP TM.
3. Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving skills with a continuous improvement mindset.
4. Prior Olin experience in a relevant position is preferred.
5. May be required to obtain a TWIC if working on-site at certain locations.
