Position Summary:


Responsibilities: Essential Duties



  • Uses established tools and techniques to identify product and process risks and drive improvement measures to reduce overall risks

  • Responsible for maintenance and optimization of risk management documentation for medical devices, pharmaceuticals and combination products

  • Works collaboratively with representatives of quality, manufacturing, R&D and engineering to support new product development and sustaining existing product portfolio

  • Maintains and utilizes knowledge of principles in risk management, statistics, and product/process improvement including, but not limited to ISO 14971; ICH Q9; Usability Risk Management, and Cybersecurity Risk Management

Expertise: Knowledge & Skills



  • Requires full working knowledge of relevant business practices and procedures in professional field. Uses standard theories, principles and concepts and integrates them to propose a course of action.

  • Works under general supervision. Relies on experience and judgement to plan and accomplish assigned goals. May periodically assist in orienting, training, and/or reviewing the work of other peers.

  • Judgement is required in resolving all day-to-day problems.

  • Contacts are primarily with direct supervisor, peers and subordinates.



Expertise: Qualifications -Education/Experience/Training/Etc


Required:



  • Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree preferred.

  • 06-08 years related experience required.

  • Applicable industry/professional certification preferred.

  • Regular and predictable attendance

  • Frequent business travel required, Secrecy and invention agreement and non-compete agreement, Ability to work non-standard schedule as needed
