Job summary

Werner Enterprises is offering a 11-week summer internship at our Corporate Headquarters in Omaha, Nebraska with paid training and learning opportunities. Some remote and off-site opportunities may be available, plus housing assistance may be offered.

You will shadow teams, participate in leadership sessions, and contribute to real-world projects, case studies, and internal research to understand daily operations and strategic planning.

Qualifications

• Pursuing Bachelor's in Business Administration with focus in Logistics/Transportation, Management or Supply Chain.
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities are essential.
• Analytical mindset and ability to think creatively to solve problems.
• Organizational skills to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced env.
• Basic proficiency with Excel, Word and project management software.

Responsibilities

• Engage in hands-on learning by shadowing experienced team members.
• Participate in Mentor Program and Intern Activities to build network.
• Support process improvement initiatives within the division with feedback.
• Assist in developing customer case studies and solutions.
• Conduct internal research on industry trends and best practices.
