Job summary

Cash-Wa Distributing in the Midwest seeks a Transportation Lead in Nebraska (Kearney) who can also run routes as needed. You will oversee routes, train drivers, and ensure delivery standards while minimizing labor costs and satisfying customers.

You will collaborate with sales, manage schedules and timekeeping, cover routes when needed, and participate in wage adjustments and incident investigations. A current CDL and a clean driving record are required.

Qualifications

• Current CDL license required.
• 21+ years old (interstate driving possible).
• Good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Staff, train, evaluate and develop team members.
• Ensure adherence to delivery standards, efficiencies and regulatory requirements.
• Manage drivers' delivery schedules and hours worked.
• Establish and maintain positive customer relationships, resolve customer issues.
• Serve as liaison between transportation and sales in the territory.
• Manage and audit timekeeping for team members.
• Cover routes as needed (PTO, sick, vacancies).
• Perform annual reviews and wage adjustment suggestions.
• Investigate incidents and injuries, retraining and/or disciplinary action.
• Other administrative duties as necessary.
