Job summary

Dot Foods, Inc. is seeking a Driver Supervisor for the Transportation (Non-Driver) team. You will supervise driver assignments, schedule movements, and coordinate product movements to customers, vendors, and distribution centers using company equipment and fleet.

This on-site, full-time role reports to the Assistant Transportation Manager. A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent Dot experience is required, with knowledge of DOT regulations and Hours of Service; occasional travel; competitive

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent Dot experience.
• Knowledge of D.O.T., Federal and State regulations for drivers and equipment.
• Working knowledge of federal Hours Of Service regulations.
• Ability to work in a constantly changing environment.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to inbound product movements and vendor orders.
• Manage driver assignment for all loads inbound/outbound.
• Assist in coordinating product transfer to other distribution centers.
• Measure and report driver payroll, service levels, fleet performance.
• Lead continuous improvement efforts applying lean thinking to eliminate waste.
