Conrad Consulting in Wall Township, NJ, is seeking a Transportation Group Manager to lead the Highway/Traffic and Bridge practices from our New Jersey office. You will shape strategy, drive growth, and deliver complex projects while mentoring a multidisciplinary team.

The role requires a PE license, 15+ years in transportation engineering, and a track record of client development and successful project delivery in the Northeast.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering is required.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license is required; NJ licensure via reciprocity preferred.
• Minimum 15+ years of progressive transportation engineering experience.
• Strong leadership and ability to manage Project Managers and technical staff.
• Experience delivering complex transportation projects from planning through construction.
• Proven business development and client relationship management experience.
• Familiarity with AASHTO, NJDOT, MUTCD, FHWA standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Highway/Traffic and Bridge practices with strategic and operational direction.
• Develop and mentor engineers and Project Managers; manage staffing and backlog.
• Oversee project delivery within scope, schedule, budget, and quality targets.
• Maintain relationships with NJDOT, counties, municipalities, and public agencies.
• Identify new business opportunities and lead proposals and fee development.
• Provide technical oversight and QA/QC for transportation projects.
