Job summary

The Ohio Department of Transportation offers a part-time internship to support statewide transportation planning through research, data analysis, and reporting. This role provides hands-on experience in developing applications for federal discretionary funding programs and creating GIS-based maps and reports.

You will gain practical experience in GIS, data visualization, and graphic production that supports statewide planning work products, while balancing flexible hours with your school

Qualifications

• Enrolled student in an accredited college or university.
• Part-time work schedule around school commitments.
• Maintain good academic standing required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with statewide transportation planning including research, data analysis, and reporting.
• Assist in development applications for federal discretionary funding programs.
• Use GIS to build and analyze spatial data and create maps and reports.
• Develop maps, materials and graphics that support statewide planning work products.
